N&A joins SEMA

By Lee Clark, President, Nye & Associates

Well, we finally pulled the trigger. After being acquainted with automotive accessory manufacturers, being involved in national strategic planning for many of them, the next logical step for us was to become an official member of SEMA.

For those of you who don't know what SEMA is, it's the Specialty Equipment Market Association, and it is all things automotive. Each year in Las Vegas SEMA hosts The SEMA Show, which is the place to be if your company manufactures or sells anything automotive, whether its direct to consumer, B2B, OEM or otherwise.

I like to think of it as a circus on steroids, squared, featuring hot rods instead of elephants. It is one of the most amazing spectacles I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Our agency, as we surpass the mid-way point of 2013, continues to look forward. Our plan is to continue to build relationships with our existing auto-related clients, and to continue to reach out to other manufacturers, showcasing our track record for producing good results through effective planning, compelling creative and a strategic focused thought process.

The automotive segment is a growing area for Nye & Associates. We also manage marketing projects for other types of manufacturers, including the aviation, hydraulic equipment and roll forming equipment industries.
